Building the Identity of a Movement for Change
Tisza, a new political party in Hungary, approached us to build a brand system strong enough to challenge the government that has held power for 16 years. In just six months, Tisza rose to the top of the polls, and our role was to give that momentum a clear, scalable identity. We refined and expanded a sensitive existing design, proving that thoughtful adjustments can create outsized impact. Together with art director Lucas Breuer, we developed a full design system that works seamlessly across channels, empowering Tisza to grow quickly, communicate clearly, and inspire confidence as they reshape Hungary’s political landscape.

A Bold Identity for a Bold Vision
Tisza’s colors and signature gradient set them apart from every other political party in Hungary. The fresh, modern palette reflects their commitment to change and instantly signals that they are something new. Different in style, substance, and vision for the future and the people of Hungary. The logo, originally created by our great friend Lucas Breuer, became the foundation for building this distinctive identity.

The Typeface of Change
For Tisza’s identity, we chose FAIRE Luma Sans from FAIRE Type, a Brooklyn-based foundry who supported us and Tisza in our mission for change. Luma Sans is a geometric sans serif that balances technical precision with organic warmth, making it both empathetic and human. Its flexibility across print and digital ensures Tisza’s message is always clear, approachable, and visually strong.

Scaling a Movement across every Platform
To help Tisza communicate consistently and at speed, we built a scalable system of social media templates tailored for multiple platforms. From quick updates to big announcements, each template keeps the identity strong while allowing the team to adapt content instantly. This flexibility ensures Tisza’s message of change reaches people everywhere clearly, quickly, and with impact.

Single source of truth
We built a flexible, large-scale design system designed to evolve alongside Tisza’s rapid growth. The system works seamlessly across web, app, and print, ensuring visual consistency across every channel. From tokens and components to layout and interaction patterns, every element was crafted for clarity, accessibility, and speed. This allowed Tisza’s team to scale communication without sacrificing quality or coherence.

Redefining being digital
We created a digital ecosystem within a website that redefines how people interact with a political movement. The site serves as a central hub for all things Tisza, including news, videos, events, and announcements, offering a clear, trusted space for citizens to stay informed and engaged. This approach introduces a new digital model for political parties, turning an online presence into a service-driven platform for transparency and connection.

Conclusion
By creating a full-scale brand system, design system and website, we helped Tisza communicate clearly, scale quickly, and stand out in Hungary’s political landscape. Every element of their identity works together to support their mission for change, empowering the party to engage supporters and inspire confidence across all channels. Special thanks to Lucas for the logo and art direction, and to Sabrine and Maxime at FAIRE Type for their typeface.
